What is Encounter?
At Encounter Sabbath, you will spend the weekend pursing the Lord through prayer, meditation, godly discussions, solitude, worship, and more. You'll enjoy great food, fun fellowship, and the stillness with God that your soul has been craving. We'll gather on the shores of Grapevine Lake right in the heart of north DFW. Camp at the lake, or go home to your own bed and come back Saturday morning! Inner Healing prayer partners will be available Saturday. Your agenda for the weekend - be with God! Invite him to speak to you, guide you, and renew you.
What’ll It Cost?

$50 - includes 4 meals, materials, and optional camping for up to 2 nights.

$25 for children 12 & under
Arrive as early as 3:00 p.m. Friday. Dinner at 6:00 followed by teaching, worship, and fellowship around the campfire. Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included. The retreat ends after campfire and worship Saturday evening. Camping at our site is available Friday and Saturday nights.
Bring your fishing pole, your mountain bike, your hiking shoes, or whatever helps you connect with God! Encounter Sabbath is perfect for the whole family! If you bring the kiddos, you'll want to incorporate them into your renewal experience - both in prayer and in play! Please help them from distracting others as appropriate.
